    What can cause dandruff?

Dandruff is at times believed to be genetically triggered, but the scalp consists of a fungus known as Malassezia and feeds on the sebum produced by the sebaceous gland on the scalp. In case you have dead skin, it may worsen your dandruff since the hair follicles have no space to breath.

The reaction of the fungus is regularly activated when you fail to remove dead skin yet the oils regularly accumulate.

Dandruff is highly experienced by those with more hair or a high density (packed hair) since it makes the scalp moist for the action of the fungus and the bacteria.
