According to the Survey of ISAPS baldness and thinning top is the thing of past as the data came after the survey reveal that both men and women are saying no to baldness and opting the hair transplant as viable option. It has revealed the hike of more than 15% in one year in the number of hair transplant.
In 2014, total 115,946 procedures were performed but in 2015 there was great increase in the number by 15.60% means the total number rise up to 134,019 approximately.
According to the survey India has the highest rank with the 29.6% of the total procedures and the Brazil at second position with 6.8% only. Further the reports revealed that majority at 80.3% of overall surgeries however the women have only 19.7%.
Earlier men only seek for this procedure but now the women that have hair loss also seek for this permanent option to restore their hair with natural appearance this has become the prime reason for the increase ion the hair transplant procedures.
