Don’t wash your hair until your doctor advises you. Once he allows, you should only use mild shampoo and conditioner to clean the area around the transplanted follicles. Instead of rubbing movement, gently disperse the shampoo. Additionally, don’t put too much water pressure on the scalp. Once you are done use a soft towel to pat the scalp.

    • Avoid touching the scalp

    You should avoid touching the scalp, otherwise, the scalp will not be healed properly. After the hair transplant, you will notice slight redness and itching around the area. Avoid scratching the scalp as transplanted follicles will get affected and growth will not be proper.

    • Eat a balanced diet

    The most important thing to keep the hair healthy is to eat a balanced diet. Different studies have shown that people who consume all the right amount of nutrients will have proper hair growth. Include antioxidants food in your diet like blueberries, squash, peppers, cherries, and tomatoes. You can also include food that is rich in Vitamin D such as fish (salmon, tuna, or trout) as it includes  omega-3 fatty acids and it is very beneficial for hair growth.

    Avoid food items such as soy, wheat, and dairy and any other food which might cause an allergic reaction. In addition to this, drink 6 to 8 glasses of water each day.

    • Massage your scalp

    Gently massage your scalp as it will increase blood circulation and it will stimulate the hair growth. Mix 3 drops of essential oil such as rosemary, sage, and peppermint. Add all of them in olive oil. For effective results, you should use gently scalp the scalp with this oil mixture at least once or twice each day.

    • Avoid hair styling

    You should avoid the use of heating products on the hairs for some time. don’t try your hair too tightly in a ponytail as it put pressure on the roots.
